My Story

EXPERIENCE

I started graphic design because of a need with my current ministry (help where you can) where I currently serve full-time after 16 years in a secular position. My professional core values mirror the values instilled in me by my family, be kind and respectful, be helpful and accommodating, and do all things in excellence. My commitment to you is to provide a pleasant environment where you are free to express your vision, give you helpful feedback based on design principles and provide you with the best possible service and product to drive your business's mission and vision to your target audience. My desire is to assist local churches with their design, branding, and marketing needs.

EDUCATION

My graphic design journey has been one of trial and a lot of error, yet I persisted (always do your best). It was late 2020, when I received a call from Digital Media Institute in Shreveport, Louisiana, to be a part of their Advertising Design program. It was the perfect opportunity to learn what I didn't know. The training and education I received at DMI from some of the top industry professionals in the country, has prepared me to provide you with an intentional product from graphics to websites, to assisting you in crafting a strategic marketing/advertising campaign for your business or brand.

SKILLS

I am skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite with focuses on Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, Lightroom, and XD.  My specialties include creative content, strategy, design, and SEO.

PERSONAL

I am a local Shreveport native and mother of one firefighter/paramedic/photographer/traveler. My values are derived from the stern yet loving rearing of my tribe - grandmother, mother, aunts and uncles. These values are simply to treat people how you desire to be treated, give if you have it, help where you can, and always do your best. I feel such values ensure success in all types of relationships and ventures.
